Commentary
This box once held one pound of assorted chocolates made by the confections company, Apollo Chocolates, which was active in Boston in the early 20th century. The box was found inside Isabella Stewart Gardner's writing desk in the Macknight Room in 1926, containing several small objects collected by her.
