Each glass in this set of handmade, stemmed, liqueur glasses is 4 inches tall with slight variations in size among the set. They each have a gilded rim on the upper edge of their slightly tapered bowl. It meets a slender clear stem of approximately the same length as the bowl. The stem narrows, swells, and tapers again as it approaches a clear round base a bit larger in diameter than the rim. The stem is diagonally fluted, meaning the stem has multiple grooves that run from top to bottom diagonally. The bowl is etched with a shield shaped crest or coat of arms containing a pair of stylized birds and a pair of crenelated battlements. The crest is topped with a crown motif and flanked by stem and leaf forms.
