These Spanish candlesticks dates from the early 19th century and are made of wood decorated with gilt over gesso, which is a white primer. These candlesticks, which stand approximately 20.75 inches tall, are round carved columns with indentations, knobs and fluting. They have a cup at the top and plain holders for the candles. Each has a rectangular base with three claw-like feet. Both candlesticks show signs of wear.
