This French four-piece coffee and tea service is made of gilded hard paste porcelain and includes a coffee/tea pot, a creamer, a sugar bowl, and an open bowl.  The vessels are urn shaped--tall with a round center that gets smaller at the top and bottom.  The teapot has a fluted handle and spout, and a small lid with a pointed knob at the top.  The sugar bowl has small handles on two sides and a lid with a pointed knob at the top.  The creamer has a wide spout and a fluted handle.  All of the vessels have a band of etching just above where the handles are attached and around the edge of the lid.  The open bowl curves gracefully outward and has two rows of etching around the top edge.
