This etching of a river scene is printed on off-white paper. A river runs diagonally across the center of the image with one boat floating in it. In the center foreground are two male figures standing on the shore who are looking downward. Part of a large ship that is on the shore is visible to our left. A figure stands on the deck of this vessel oriented toward our right. To our right is a line of wooden pier posts and a two-tiered wooden fence that runs along the river. Three figures and many buildings are visible on the far shoreline.
