This lunette shaped oil painting shows the Biblical scene of the three kings giving gifts to the Christ Child.  In the center of this muted manger scene is an image of the seated medium-light-skinned Virgin Mary who gazes downward at her lap.  Although not clearly depicted, it appears that she is holding the Christ Child as a bright light emanates from her lap and illuminates the three kings who are to our right.  The kneeling king has medium brown skin, is clean-shaven, and wears a headdress and flowing robes.  He extends his left arm, offering a rectangular box to the Christ Child.  Behind him is a standing king who also has his hands extended in offering to the Christ Child.  He has dark skin, a long white beard, and wears flowing robes and a golden colored crown.  Further to our right is another standing figure whose features are less well defined.  Extending to our right of these figures is a brown wooden wall.  To our left is a standing male figure in the shadows of a wooden manger-like structure facing the Virgin Mary.  This figure is indistinct and appears to be holding a staff.  Next to him in the foreground is a large brown cow.  The background has a blue sky with green clouds at the horizon.  This lunette painting is shown in a solid beige horizontal rectangular mat.
