Dark lines create arched eyebrows, eyes and lashes, and soft lips turned into a hint of a smile. Long hatch marks over the left side of her face and nose likely indicate a shadow, with light hitting her forehead and right cheek. She wears a very full cape or robe, indicated by long black lines over her shoulders, arms, and chest. To our left, we see what may be drapery, or a view out a window.
