This horizontal, watercolor on paper painting features a blue, white and purple stream in the lower third of the scene. The stream has small, visible brush strokes. On the opposite side of the bank from where we view the stream, the shore has purple, orange, tan and green bushes with a few tall purple tree trunks. The light blue sky is visible through the trees. The painting is surrounded by a thick, black mat and a narrow black frame.
