FREE FIRST THURSDAYS: DECEMBER

Sneaker therapy: Process, Reflect, Heal

Thursday, December 7, 2023
3 - 9 pm

Join us on the first Thursday of every month for an exciting evening of discovery and community. Museum admission is free from 3 pm through 9 pm and programs kick off at 5 pm. Explore the magic of the Museum’s gardens and galleries at night and stop by Café G for dinner and drinks.

Come celebrate a night in honor of self expression and healing and explore the galleries after hours with programs promoting joy, mental health advocacy, and community. Experience a special installation in the studio featuring part of an extensive sneaker collection of the Artist, Actor & Luminary Keith Mascoll. In Calderwood Hall, Keith will lead a fireside chat and a powerful conversation with artists and sneaker heads in connection with themes of our special exhibition Inventing Isabella. The Living Room Bar and Café G are open late. This will all be illuminated by the sounds of DJ KNSZWRTH.

Keith Mascoll is an M.ed Candidate at Harvard Graduate School of Education, actor & artist who uses his unique and innovative style of Black storytelling about trauma in creating spaces for male healing through art. Keith is founder of the Triggered Project, Co-host of The Living a Triggered Life Podcast, and a Neighborhood Salon Luminary at the Gardner Museum.
