Join Holly Salmon, John L. and Susan K. Gardner Director of Conservation and Gianfranco Pocobene, Chief Paintings and Research Conservator, as they walk through the historic restoration of the Titian Room and it's focal point: The Rape of Europa. Holly will give us an overview of the work completed on the room featuring behind-the-scenes photos of the ongoing project. Gianfranco will then share how the restoration of Europa uncovered new insights into Titian's groundbreaking technique and discuss the transformation of the painting's appearance.
