In conjunction with our special exhibition, In the Company of Artists, celebrate 25 years of the Artist-in-Residence program at the Gardner. Immerse yourself in the creativity of artists who have called the Museum home, and see the collection through fresh eyes with one-of-a-kind performances, intimate conversations, and hands-on activities.

Program for the Evening

In Calderwood Hall | 5, 7, and 8 PM
Choreographers-in-Residence All Ready will perform three suites of three pieces: El Jaleo, Life of Isabella, and All Ready Festival, on the hour beginning at 5 pm.

In the Studio | 5:30–8:45 PM
Boston designer, illustrator, and Gardner Museum Visiting Studio Artist Sabrina Dorsainvil invites you to awaken your inner artist with this hands-on art-marking  activity.

In the Courtyard | Throughout the Evening
Lee Mingwei's Sonic Blossom will bring opera to the Courtyard in the form of a spontaneous gift. Perk up your ears—you won't want to miss these beautiful lieder, also known as art songs!

In the Living Room | 6:30 & 7:30 PM
Grab a friend and join Artist-in-Residence Rachel Perry for a heavenly tour of the many and various halos around the Museum's galleries. 

In Hostetter Gallery | 6:30–8:30 PM
Artist-in-Residence Dayanita Singh will take to Hostetter Gallery, talking with visitors and holding a special sale of her Box of Shedding. Her Museum of Shedding installation serves as backdrop for this one-night experience!

Tickets are required and include Museum admission.

Adults $15, seniors $12, students $10, free for members and children 17 and under.
