Hailed as “…a musician on the threshold of a brilliant career” by The Washington Post, Russian-born pianist Tatiana Goncharova has performed as a soloist and chamber music collaborator throughout the United States, South America, Europe and Asia.
A founder of New York’s TAGI ensemble (formerly known as the New York Lyric Chamber Players), Ms. Goncharova is a winner of numerous prizes and awards, including the Olga Koussevitzky Piano Competition and Bergen Philharmonic Concerto Competition. She recently released her debut recording, featuring Shostakovich’s Violin Sonata and 24 Preludes with violinist Grigory Kalinovsky on Centaur Records.
Highlights of Ms.Goncharova’s recent seasons include appearances with Orchestre de Chambre Francais at the Long Island Mozart Festival; performances with Chamber Players International, Big Arts and Ridotto Series, New York’s Merkin Hall, Bar Harbor and Newport Music Festivals; recital tours of Brazil, Uruguay, Peru, Spain; and duo recitals with celebrated violinist Pinchas Zukerman in Taiwan, Japan and Singapore.
